Question Answered:

I bought a rebuilt engine for 2300.00 they ship it to you and then you return the old one it is not that hard to do an engine swap I am 60 yrs old and just did mine it took me a week to complete it. they also recommend you replace the oil cooler could only find one at a dealer . while doing the engine you will want to replace the belt, and rad hoses, thermostat, and transmission fluid and filter, clean the throttle body and oil pan New gaskets come with the engine rebuild there is also new oil and filter and antifreeze you will need So the total is going to cost you 2600 if you do the work you will need an engine lift and leveler to lower and raise the engine back into the van

Question Answered:

I found that is right you need to change the flid & filter every 30,000 miles It is very easy for a do it your self project USE ONLY AFT+4 trany fluid cost 12.00 for filter and gasket and 25,00 for 5 qts of ATF+4 Add 3 qt then run car , check fluid, add if needed then run car for 10min recheck fluid add again if needed ps let fluid drain for 20min after you fulley remove the metel pan and gasket Filter just pulls down to get off no screws. If you do a lot of mountian driving change oil more often every 15,000 miles and add an oil cooler to the system

Question Answered:

I also had this type fo problem. Replaced swaybar and bushing KEY here is to add a piece of ruber around bushings this helps secure them when you screw in the metel clamp to the car. sway bar end link, quick struts , control arms with ball joint and control arm bushings. STILL HAD A PROBLEM found the control arm bushings had play in them when you hold the tire at 3 & 9 oclock and shake. I added a1/16" shim 2"long that i made around the bolt that goes thru the control arm bushing , had to hammer it to get it in. That did the trick NO MORE NOISE Hope this helps
