I have been the customer in my life, and didn't like the position of being at the mercy of someone I wasn't sure I could trust. I like the customers thanking me for being honest, and explaining the reason their vehicle needs to see the doctor, and what it takes to make it feel better.

Question Answered:

This happens a lot with 4.6l-5.4l engines. Driving through water puddles and such the water above the hood on the outside of the car as you can see. Well the water also goes in the engine compartment, you don't see. I have put some sealer on the top ring of the spark plug boots, where it contacts the top of the spark plug hole. This seems to help with the water problem.

Things do corrode in northern states. Factory warranty covered some of the cost, with car out of warranty? Would say your lucky they paid some. Yes a lot of corrosion after salt is put on the road to melt the ice.

Think you have more problems then an o2 sensor. Leaky injectors/pressure regulator. Trying to remember, Warm up engine - test the gry/lt-blu wire and ground. Idle should be 0.1-0.9v, increase engine speed voltage should increase and decrease as rpms drop. If it doesn't work as stated it's probably bad.

Question Answered:

If you understand a/c circuits you might understand, but here we go. The PCM sends a ground signal to the relay to engage it for the clutch to operate. Freon level, pressure switches, sun load sensor, outside air temp sensor, some have inside air temp sensor, thermosistor just for starters. Testing a/c clutch for power/ground or open. Now that you understand what we have to know maybe you could give us a chance to save you some money. Not trying to discourage you from asking, but it really needs to be tested by someone who knows what to check with the knowledge to know what to check and the right tools to test it with. Thanks for asking.
