Test the circuit to be sure if it's the resistor, blower, or both.

Possible issue with the ABS sensors, have the ABS module scanned for the information of the issue. Could have been a possible installer issue with the person installing the brakes.

How's Cushing; My Dad's family are from there. The cancel cam in the multi-function switch is your probable issue.

It doesn't happen automatically, until the computer proves it's not an issue anymore. It can be cleared with a scan tool, but if the plugs did not clear the fault, the light will come back on until it has been properly repaired to cancel the issue.
