Check the stoplight switch on the brake pedal arm.
Lack of Maintenance.
Were the rotors/drums turned or resurfaced, could be the 'brakes', need to be broke in if they were not turned. It could also be a improper install.
Turn the key 1 click only, not turn the run position, and see if the shifter will move to neutral. Then see if it will start. If so it is in your shift interlock system, which includes the signal from the stoplight switch.
