Corolla LE runs well; original owner; no problems noticed and currently around 84,000 miles on it. Car well maintained right from the beginning. Please let me know if a tune up is required and what items to be replaced for tune up and when should I do it? or do I need to watch out for certain symptoms?
Heating stopped working, fans blowing cooler air. Mechanic showed me a leak around left corner of the passenger side front seat floor and said the heater core is leaking. According to him it is a big job. Can I keep driving without using fan or heat? I didn't see any other leak, fluid level is ok and the temperature gauge is midway between C and H. Radiator was recently replaced and the two hoses connecting to engine are getting hot as well but no heat inside cabin. Please advise. Thanks
I see radiator fluid around its top edge. I keep wiping it off but shows up again. Also noticed the overfill plastic container going low and low and I keep filling in. I did not see lot of smoke from the exhaust and the engine oil just changed and looks good. Is the radiator going bad? Car runs well and the RPM is fine as well. Please advise.
I am getting different answers. 70,000 miles right now and transmission oil is a little darker and coolant level is slightly above LOW. No leaks. Need to know if I should have the tranny oil flush with filter and coolant flush as well. What do you recommend? Thanks
My 2003 Galant ES has 195/65/R15 in the rear and 195/60/R15 in the front. When changing should I keep the same set of numbers in the front and rear or change to 195/65/R15 for all of front and rear.
The sign pops up during summer time (about this time) and goes away after a day or two. This has been happening for the last two years. Each summer it happened about two times. There was a recall of ECM module two years ago which was replaced by the dealer then. Can you help me narrow down the exact probable cause?
Few months ago due to recall and check engine light the ECM control was replaced by the dealership. Two days ago check engine light came on; when checked it showed the code P0138 but the light disappeared a day later. Please help me with this.
Few months ago due to recall and check engine light the Toyota dealership changed the ECM control for my car. Two days ago I had the engine light back on. I checked and found the code P0138 but it disappeared a day later. Can you explain this please? Do you think it is conneced to the ECM changed control, and should I take it back to the dealer? Thanks
With my DRL front lights are working but the rear lights just turned off. I checked all four rear bulbs, they are fine. I checked the brake lights, they are working fine. Is there a fuse for the DRL rear lights? Please advise.
when driving slow steering vibrates more than when driving fast. when hands are off of steering it tilts to the left.
