What makes you think fuel pump? Do you have check light? Have you had your battery and alternator tested? Coulee ignition switch,97 had problems, could be a dead short from hot to ground, lots of reasons got auto zone advanced auto pep boy whatever take your battery out get it charged and have them do a load test to see if their is a problem, if you can get you car there they will test your alternator. Do you have current gage in dash? Should read about 13. 6 or so that might tell you sorting, if you know how to use volt meter take samples of voltage at fuse box ,head light any place you can hook up. Black leed to ground red leed to wire. Take jumper cables hook to battery, red to positive black to negative clack cable ends together you should get a good spark. Good luck

Need to be more specific, do you mean your transmission is slipping? If so what gears exactly? Have changed your fluid and filter? Number one cause . How many miles on car? There 4 shift soil noida one for each gear, that's why you need to check all gears and see if one slips or skips more than others, check for transmission slip codes. Do you have a check light?
Hi, Max Jet here, go to u tube and learn how to clean all you sensor if check light on keep working at it until the gone.Likely suspects throttle body and all sensors CAREFUL MASS AIR SENSOR IS AS DELICATE AS OPEN LIGHT BULB FILAMENT you must use special cleaner or you will screw up a 185$ part It's on you tube learn all your sensors most just need cleaned correctly,good luck
Hi, Max Jet here, make sure all you stone guards are install especially the one that goes across the hole from bottom also check your tensioner pulley if it's not spinning easily the water could be enough to stall it it just for second and through your belt. Good luck

Hi Max Jet here , I just replaced my fluid and filter due to clunkie shifting, I did note until I had proper level of fluid it would not shift into 4th gear have you changed your fluid? Made a big difference on mine 128 k looked like it had never bee changed black uck. To change u have to drop your pan and the filter is inside,the filter just pulls down. Good idea to get part and gasket first so you have a better idea of how to pull down filter. Their are 20, 10mm bolts. Have a big catch tray under pan and lower one side slowly to help guide fluid to catch basin. A small kids pool not crazy idea for catch tray. Clean the pan then Blue goo the rim of the pan and attach the gasket . Line up the holes an push bolts through before you go under car after market gasket holes were tight on bolts I didn't do this and waisted a lot time under car. After finger tight bolts I use bat. Drill with torque settings starting low until torque slipped then set higher all around to insure even torque on all 20 bolts. Good luck
