My car is low on comression for take off, runs very hot, and has check engine light on. Spark plugs replaced, antifreeze added, wqter pump, fan clutch, timing belt, and altenator belt allreplaced. can a bad coil cause all of these issues?
I recently bought a 2000 Kia Sportage EX 4wd. The check engine light came on a day after I got gas. I have taken the cap off and wiped down everything and recapped and clicked it 3 times. Also it is very slow and sluggish starting off if you step on the gas to go from 45 -65 or above it takes forever and RPMs will jump over 5 and it takes forever to shift but it has no power. Can this be a reason for the check engine light. The previous owner replaced the timing belt, spark plugs, water pump, tensioner and tensioner pulley, idler pulley, fan clutch, alternator belt and coolant stop rust and antifreeze.
