I have a 98 that would do the same especially when I'd hit a bump would loose all instruments.I like you tried everything and finally decided to check the plugs on the instrament panel which the design is lacking but if you remove the panels at your knee area reach your hand to the plugs,2 i think, and make sure they are secured. when i did this one of the plugs was loose and actually clicked/snapped into locking position. no problems after that. hope your's is as simple cause i spent hours/days tracing wires.
the jeep starts, idles, and runs fine but when driving on the hwy (65+mph) at about 2000 to 2250 rpms the engine hesitates, jerks almost like it misses pass that point its fine and also before too. at times when in traffic stop and go it'll die out. the jeep has a 6 cyl standard transmission.
When turning at a reduced speed there is a popping/grinding noise that is coming from the area of the front right side/tire, but when driving in a straight line does not happen. What could this possibly be and what do you estimate to fix?
