Is there anything I can use to stop the squeelling? I had the belts checked and was told that they are not loose, so what can I do?
Just had my brought a new battery from AAA for my car ( Group 86, 700 CCA ) and for some reason after my car sits for awhile or a minute, my power lock does work via key and radio goes off-line after sitting awhile. What is causing this? This wasn't going on before I changed the battery.
My car has 89,000 mi. on it and I took it to Jiffy lube for an iol change and of course thyn tried to sell me every service under the sun. My question is should I flush the trsnsmission and yje radiator? I don't know if either has ever been done on this car. I brought as is.
my oil light started flashing on and off making me think I needed to change the oil. However, I just changed the oil last month so I took it back to NTB and had them check the oil level. They said my oil level was fine, maybe a little over but wasn.t dirty. So I asked them to change it again using high milage oil and drove for about 35 miles and the light flashed on then off for a brief moment. As I drove it this morning the light was off until I had driven about 35 miles and the light came on flashing but stayed on until I got home. What should I do?
car has 75k mi. runs well, however everytime I make a turn it makes a loud screeching noise that seems to be getting louder. I check power-steering fluid an d belts look good, so what's causing the noise?
Car has 200,200 mi on it and was told not to flush the transmission due to it never being changed. However, it was said that I just drop the trans fluid pan, empty it, change filter, replace the fluid without flushing the transmission. Is this true?
Took my vehicle for veip inpection and it failed because the check engine light isn't on. How do I replace it or where can I take it to get fixed?
Just had brakes checked, new pads on front and new axle installed front right and new link bars on all wheels. Still, feeling trembling sensation at high speeds
My car has 195,500 mi. and has never had a transmission fluid change. A mechanic told me to not change it becuse the milage is high and due to never changing the fluid there is probably a lot of seditary deposits that will be shifted around if he drains the fluid, thus possibly causing future transmission problems. I just had all the belts and water pump changed, new spark plugs and timming belt. Now I feel a slight shift when accelerating that I used to never feel or noticed. When I took my car for an oil change at Jiffy lube, they recommended a trnsmission flush costing $125 dollars. What should I do?
I would like to extend the life of my cars engine. What can I do to possibly get 150,000 more miles out of my car. Right now it runs a little hard, the belts squeek horribly when it rains or its cold out side. The temp. gauge sometimes run in the middle or above towards hot . What can I do ?
