I will look at the wiring diagram and get back with you on this. should be 20 amp fuse to motor in engine compartment fuse box. if its blown, usually bad compressor. compressor goes bad because of leaking air bags. cost is usually around 1500.00 to replace compressor and both bags. parts stores carry a delete kit that replaces air bags with coil springs. kit costs 200 to 300.
just repaired one that vacuum connector above the accel pedal come loose. these were also bad to break the hard plastic lines that run beside the battery if acid from battery gets on them.
be sure to check brake fluid. reservoir is under wiper motor cowl and hard to add fluid too. have seen a lot of these low because their so hard to get to.
if it feels like a miss, recheck plug wires at coil. ford has oddball wire setup on coil. passenger side is 1 2 3, driver side is 4 6 5.
if you notice it when vehicle shifts into overdrive, around 45 mph, transmission needs to be flushed.
hpop is located under turbo. turbo has to come off, then there is a cover for the hpop. if vehicle is high miles, chances are it has been updated, as the snap to connect fitting originally used lasted about 100k miles.
if you are using ignition switch and keys from old column, will not have to be programmed. if using keys in replacement column, will have to be programmed.
if theft light is flashing fast with key on, pcm either lost key code or key sensor ring around ignition switch is bad. can try to have keys reprogrammed. best to get to dealer for reprogramming.
shifter bezel is trim around shifter. pull it up and can lube shift cable and interlock for shifter. may help fix key concern.
this vehicle has a lighting control module. it needs to be taken to a ford dealer to be diagnosed. usually ends up being the module.
