first you will have to get the car hooked up to a scanner to check for trouble codes then you can hook up a fuel pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure

it should not cost you that much if you can do the repair yuorself all you need to do is find out which line is leaking and replace the line and bleed the brakes if you take it to a shop it shouldnt cost you more than a hundred dollars if you can do it yourself it might cost you $20 for the line

turn the ignition on and run a jumper wire from the small terminal on the starter it is usually a purple wire to the battery cable that runs to the starter if the engine starts then you got a bad solenoid on the starter or the purple wire is broken. to check the wire you will need a test light and someone to turn the key to the run position if you got power on the purple wire then you need a starter

when the oil light comes does the engine make a ticking noise if not the problem is probably a bad oil sensor.to verify this you will have to remove the oil sensor and hook up an oil pressure gauge to see what oil pressure is when the engine is hot if its within specs then you have a bad sensor

yes a coolant leak will cause a car from starting .If it overheats to a certain point the ecm should shut the fuel off so you dont blow up your engine.tell yuor mechanic to first chech for power and ground if both are present it could be your fuel if there is no power scan test the ecm to see if you have a faulty temp sensor good luck
