need to check/tested your battery for power. check the starter and wire connection
it could be stuck or fuel gauge not reading correctly. most GM cars or truck the fuel gauge sender unit assembly are together with the fuel pump inside gas tank.
my answer is i do not know and i would not do that, the reason is to put gas in the car are more cheaper than to replace the fuel pump if gets damages.

you mean tune up? just follow the preventive maintenance in your manual.
agree with pushrod also check your master cylinder cap/cover maybe not close/tight enough.
if too much trouble for factory radio i would just replace it with aftermarket radio and it works better.
