Does it have park? The shift cable may have come out of adjustment. OD light flashing indicates a trans problem has been detected. Fluid up and clean ( pink ) or brownish with a burnt oder?

Adding to answer1, Security lamp coming on? Look for it. You may need a tech that knows how to work on the anti-theft system that doesn't have a itchy head :D Has there been a remote starter instated?
Make sure the coolant level is up in the rad, not just the recover bottle If both . Run and check the heater hoses, both should get hot. If one is hot and the other not, plugged heater core. If both are hot the blend door motor may be bad. Fan on high switch hot to cold, you should be able to hear a change in the sound if the motor is working.
Coil, simple a few screws, fuel filter, you need a fuel line disconnect tool and relay, just pull the old one out and plug the new one in. What ya trying to fix?
The fans run off of 2 fuses and 3 relays. The relay circuits are monitored by the ECM and will set a fault code if there is a fault being a bad relay or a blown fuse.
Light flashing indicates a bad miss that could damage the catalytic converter. A coil may be failing after it gets hot or EGR sticking open after being at cruising speeds. Take it and get a tech to check the non continuous test data for specific cylinder misfires and for the EGR position sensor showing the valve is going shut when coming to a stop.
Check the throttle body around the throttle plate for sludge build up. It will restrict the air flow when starting and case extended crank time. If you give it a tad bit of throttle and it starts up faster that's a sign it needs cleaned.
NP8 or NR4 RPO code on the glover box label? 3 or 4 button switch assy. The controller is responsible for illuminating the switch indicating the mode your in. As asked B4 does the 4x4 work or not and was it scanned with a real diagnostic monitor, not just an OBII scan tool. The transfer case shift motor is real common with those as well as the transfer case control module.
Make sure radiator is full, not just the recovery tank, check for both heater hoses hot going in and out to heater core. If one is hot and the other not, plugged heater core. Turn the are temp from hot to cold, blower on high, you should be able to hear a change in the sound of the air coming out the dash as the air blend door switches from hot to cold. If there's no change the actuator motor for the blend door is bad. Real common.
When the car sets overnight and is started, there's a sound like a power steering pump that is low on fluid. It only lasts a split second. Shut it down and restart it and there's no noise at all.
