I was forced to cut the main fuel line to remove the fuel filter and now need to replace it.
I have a 95 Celica GT 2.2 with 335,000 miles...I have never changed the fuel filter and am experiencing sluggish take off and not so great mpg.
I need to replace my rack and am wondering if the transaxles need to be removed and if so I suppose I should change the transaxle seals also?
My cruise was working minutes b4 I had replaced my alarm system I noticed the cruise control was not working afterward... I checked and the piece of rubber that extends from the clutch pedal to the cruise control is not there... This is what engages the cruise
There are times my car just won't start... Kinda sounds like it's either flooded or outta gas... My oil dipstick also smells like fuel!
after driving my car, I shut it off for about an hour, when I went to start it, it refused to crank. It sounded as if it was outta fuel but was not. When the tow truck arrived about 2 hours later, he started the car and it turned on immediately. I drove the car back home no problems. Could this be indication that the fuel pump is about to go?
my valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals were bad, after removing the valve cover I was told the "lower" spark plug tube seals were leaking as well....is this accurate?
I replaced my spark plugs and noticed oil around the top portion of the spark plugs... I also saw small drops on the floor of my garage
while removing the spark plugs I noticed some oil on the ceramic end of the plug :(
replaced struts and alignment. steering wheel is still trembling. one shop tells me the inner tie rod is bad but the people who did the alignment say my tie rod is good.
