My truck makes a metal scrubbing sound when taking off in first gear. Also my truck acts like it has no power. its very sluggish. Check engine light is on but only for rear o2 sensor. Also my headlights are brighter in between settings. Its like my brights only look normal when holding in the dimmer switch. When i actually switch from dim to bright it clicks but they look very dim. Ive already checked the ground. Is it the dimmer switch?
cylinders 2 4 & 6 are the only cylinders misfiring. The other code that pops up has to do with the o2 sensor. Also noticed the old plugs were burning a little hot. What's the problem? What makes only that side start misfiring? Is it the cat and o2 sensor problem? Or the coils?
when cranking my car it has a really bad miss. the code reads random/multiple cylinder misfire. I just replaced the plugs and wires. I also tested the coil packs to check the firing and all produced a big blue spark like they should. what is causing this to occur?
Where is the location of my a/c relay switch? I by passed this to My ac compressor with a hot wire and the compressor kicked on but when hooked up correctly with the plug is doesn't work. Is it the relay?
When I put my truck in just 1rst gear it revs up more than it does move it does the same when I put it second gear alone. But when I put it in overdrive the truck Drives fine. What is the problem? Are my clutches in the transmission bad? Also it takes longer than it should for it to engage into gear from park to reverse or park to drive or any combination. Please help.

My truck has code 32 that keeps Popping up on the check engine light. The code refers to the egr valve. I recently cleaned it and the light came back on. Does it need to be replaced and can a bad egr valve affect the timing of the transmission going from park to drive and park to reverse or any combo? It takes it a couple seconds to kick in and I know it's not a tranny problem it's been checked out
When shifting from park to drive or park to reverse my engine first will rev up and then kick into gear a few seconds later. What causes this slow gear engagement? Is it the egr valve? We just changed the torque converter, fluid and filter.
