Truck Named Bertha
Redondo Beach, CA
I had my tires checked and balanced, no rubbing from the tire, wheel, or wheel wieghts. i recently changed both front brake pads and rotors. I put new rear bearing seal and repacked the bearings. Did not change the brake calipers (that is my next thing i am gonna try). I was convinced it was a wheel or tire rub because it started after a tire repair and rotation and balance. No grinding or squeeking just a low winding sound with a little shimmy or vibration but not all the time.
my air works good but i notice when i am on the freeway and accelerate quickly the vents shut until i let off the gas.
i am installing a 600 watt 4 channel amp and it calls for a battery hookup power line. it needs a 50 amp fuse 12 inches from battery with 10 guage power wire to the amp. the only thing i installed to my battery that is a after market item is an alarm. will i need to upgrade my alternator or is stock sufficient?
i am changing the fluid and filter on my truck but need to know how much fluid to buy? in the owners manual it says it holds around 11 quarts but not sure if i need that much for regular maint.
