Question Asked: Why oil leaks from 94-2005 Cadillacs Northstar engines? Why not class action?
June 21, 2013, 06:40 PM
This northstar engine is great engine, but design flaws allow it to leak oil from bottom of engine, and slowly becomes worse as mileage increases. This is GM fault and bad design.
Question Asked: Start a class action with GM.Oil leakage? Northstars leak from bottom from 40K.

This engine on cadillacs has reputation for leaking oil from bottom. Have remove engine to repair problem. It appears to be design problem. Cadillac will do nothing. I have written, called and etc. Nothing they will do. Is there anyone that will join in class action against GM?
Question Asked: 2005 Deville had complete tuneup. It is missing every so often. What is going on
March 14, 2013, 02:53 PM
Had fuel filter replaced and other stuff, like plugs. Could it be the wires? Not sure. It has 190,000 miles, well taken care of. Oil leaks below engine, cannot afford to have it fixed. Am disabled vet, this car has to last longer. Returning to show next Tuesday, any suggestions? The missing usual around 55-60 mph. If I floor it, it does not miss. At times up small hill, and other times on level ground. not all the time. Filled with premium gas it seem to help.
