When i was told the brakes were shaking while cornering, i took it for a test drive and no shaking during hard braking. But when braking during a left turn the brake light came on as a grinding noise was herd. I inspected the brakes but found no appearant problem. Could this be a strut or tie rod problem?
I recently tried to recharge my ac with the recharge bottles sold at Auto Zone and it did not get cold. So I added more. Thinking I may have over charged the system, I released all the pressure from the low charge valve then recharged to proper pressure level. Driving 30mi in 100+ degree heat the system did not get cooler, instead the compressor started smoking! And now sounds racketing.
The "squirrel cage" or blower fan is located on the fire wall behind the dash board on the passenger side. Your problem sounds like it could be a problem with the blower speed switch. I encounterd this same problem on a 2007 Z71. I simply swapped out the entire climate control unit from a doner truck.

The front hubs were converted to part time 4x4. They now need new bearings.

The Mass Airflow sensor would be located on the throttle body or between the trottle body and intake manifold.
