Do these 940's have any relays that control the power windows and if so where are they located? Its kinda strange that I only have 1 out of 4 windows that works and the driver side 4 way control doesn't control the window that works. I replaced the panel(driver side) twice and thats not the problem. Relay or motor???? Or wiring???
I was having a similar problem with my 94 940 and I just recently replaced my ignition modulator and the problem was illimulated. $140 for the part, it is real easy to replace. Read repair manual before repairing, real delicate part.
I already know I need struts, but exactly what parts would cause my volvo to shimmy (bounce) at high speeds? If I am going around a corner, my car will jump all over the place. I was told that it was my ball joints. (looking for another opinion). I was thinking it was my wheel bearings. If you have some experience in that area, plus weigh in with you opinion. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor on my volvo 940 and the car ran fine, however the idle was very high and began to pulsate. It ran for about 30 minutes pulsating and then it shut down after the under the hood temperature elavated. Started back up once it cooled down. Should I replace my throttle sensor? Or what do you recommend?
will my volvo cut off after driving for a short while, and sometimes start back up and other times not start until it cools off because of a bad crank position sensor? Plugs, wires, coil and air filter have already been replaced.
I was told that it could be my ignition modular or my position crankshaft position sensor. I cannot locate my modular and they don't list a sensor for this model. What should I do?
