the first thing I would suggest is taking down the amount driven, before you drive the car and afterwards let me know .
I would try making sure the steering wheel is locked before starting the car and keeping my foot on the brake before trying to bring it out of park.let me know the results
after driving the car it requires water the next morning,it use to leak from hoses, tightened all hoses, took out thermostat doing summer could the thermostat be sticking, changed radiator cap, car wasn't driven doing entire winter, found no water mixed with oil could the water pump be my next costly project? Also no water coming from tailpipe.
when was the last tune up,what type of gas/diesel are you using? Sometimes just blowing the carbon out the exhaust clears it up,then again it just started I would think gas, have you checked the fuel filter make sure all the wires are connected
you got the part just take your time and look at the part study it and find it on the vehicle.
regular tune up
check battery clean the post neg-pos clean cables, check where the positive runs to ,um starter, cylinoid
I would check the carb= air, gas,be sure you filters are clean
Try disconnecting the positive while vehicle is running should it cut off,I would reccommend having the alternator checked
Try changing the fuse it should be located on the fender well driver side .
