2 days after a trip from the mountain in heavy sleet and ice condition, i noticed that water is still slowly draining and oozing out from both sides of the tire wells even though the weather has been dry. there is also windshield mist inside the van. it was parked all day outside. 2 days ago while coming down from the mountain, wife saw water come out from the underside of the glove compartment. also I noticed that once we were in flat land, driving, sound like water swaying from side to side can be heard when making turns (possibly sound coming below the windshield gutter). can you tell me what's going on and if it is a drainage problem or other issuem please share the fix. thank you.
we just replaced the transmission and i noticed that at times shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear revs the engine up before it engages. it occurs intermittently. also, there are moments that when you turn the ignition the engine when start and the "hold" light would be blinking. but when i try to move the shifter from park to gear ('on' key position) it will crank the next time. the manual says it could be the electronic control on the transmission. what could be the causes so i can have them checked by mechanic. i still have a 90-day warranty on the transmission and labor. thank you.
i recently hit a rock on the roadway and i suspect that the oil leak coming from under from the oil pan. what should i do? is it a diy job?
