Replacing the distributor did not solve the problem. The car has been back to the shop repeatedly. The problem appears to be related to the ambient temperature. No problem during the summer and fall months, but once the weather turns cold, the car won't start. Many times it has started later in the day, but many times it won't start again for several days. The mechanic is stumped. Again, this problem is intermittent; however, in cold weather, it seems to occur ever 1-2 weeks, and sometimes more often (as is the case now). This has been going on for perhaps 15 to 18 months. Thanks for any advice you might have.
