check for loose or bad cables or posibley voltage regulator?
is the belt off this might make it easier
manually turn crank untill that piston is at top this might help you gain access to bolt other wise will have to remove head tough break!
take off radiator cap (when cold) once it heats up enough to open thermastat you should be able rev engine and see water flowing inside radiator if theres no flow what so ever its probley water pump
two long bolts and two or three little ones holding the wires to the silenoid
linkage under car could be bent or binding or rusted
make sure you have enough coolant and try flushing system
if your lucky its just your linkage under your car try wd40 and check to make sure its not binding up or bent!
try bleeding brakes first if that dont work might have to replace wheel cylinders
