Check brake fluid. Check brake pads . Check for brake fluid leaks. All of these will cause the light to stay on.

Put your ear to the car and listen for a buzz while turning on the key. You should be able to hear the fuel pump when you turn on the key. After a second or two the pump will shut back off. You may need to try this a couple of times before you will recognize the sound. Sounds like a small electric motor.I think its in the fuel tank so the sound should be close to the rear of the car.
MAF sensors are funny. Check to make sure the air tubes are in good shape without any holes or cracks. The hose that is in front of the MAF.
I used to build the sunroof that you are talking about. They are opened and closed with cables and have some delicate plastic parts that could be broken. I think the cables are adjustable. You would have to take the headliner out to be able to see anything and you still wont see much.If you are up to it , i would start by taking out the headliner and looking for some small allen head screws through a small hole in the underside or interior of the vehicle to find the adjustments. The cable could be broken too. I dont think that a whole new sunroof is all that expensive though. Maybe $200.00
engine will idle once started. Fuel relay wants to click on and off while cranking and when the engine is reved from idle the relay will clitc off shutting off the fuel.
