i would clear the codes see which one comes up first, the evap code could be a air line broken somewhere what are the specific codes you are getting?
could be the starter try to start the car while someone hits the starter.
Do you have any lights flashing like the check engine or security light or theft light? check it with a scantool to see if you get any codes
go to autozone and get it diagnose for free you have to use a scan tool to get the codes.
go to you local autozoe the check engine light comes on for a emission related fault al scantool will tell you why the light is on.
if the battery light is blinking it may be a problem with your charging system check the battery and the alternator also the alternator voltage module which regulates the voltage, autozone could diagnose your charging system for free
your basic scan tool wont access the srs system on a MB, If you plan on keeping the car i would look into buying a scantool that would work with your vehicle GOOGLE INPA, you could also get a local mechanic to diagnose your car it could be a sensor or a faulty module.
it could be many things, the thermostat, cooling temp sensor, one of the fans, water pump, low coolant, i would get the car to your local mechanic if you have your check engine light i would get the car diagnose.
check the fuse panel under the drivers side foot well there should be a cover with the name and functions of each fuse look for cigs lighther.
BMWs use 2 pumps a returning pump and a sending pump the one that goes bad is the sending pump, the pump is right under the rear seats the sending pump is right behind the driver seat, the best way to test it is to purge the fuel rail manually do it about 2 times with the switch one, make sure to have a rag to stop the gasoline from spraying all over you if the sending pump is bad after purging the valve a couple of times it wont spray, check the fuel pump relay before changing the pump.
