I found my 96 Acura 2.5 TL is hard to start in the morning when the air is cold and humid. I live near oceanside and generally park my car on the driveway. The problem occurs about 2-3 times per week. The battery had been changed and the car had been tuned-up about a year ago in an auto shop. The spark plugs and wires should have been changed, but recently I have found "2002" marked on the wires. Don't know if it means the wires were made in 2002. When the air is cold and humid, it always takes me 3-4 times to ignite the engine, looks like stepping on gas pedal helps a little bit. The engine will eventually start, but now it takes me longer and longer to get it started. And there is a heavy smell of gas right after I it is ignited. The car just runs great as usual for the rest of the day. I tried WD-40 around the distribution caps and fuel-injection cleaner. None of them helps to relieve the problem. It's my only car and I'm tight in budget to fix it. Please help! Thanks!
