Question Answered: security light stays on when engine is running

This is a common problem with Chevrolet vehicles. It may be numerous things that will cause this problem? Sometimes if you roll the window down on the drivers side and leave all doors shut. reach in through the window and turn the key on but do not start . The security light will stay lite for a period of 30 minutes. If the light goes out the vehicle resets its anti-theft. Turn the key off and restart the vehicle. If the light stays off you are good. If it don't? Take it to the dealer to see what sensor is bad?
