I have upgraded the CD several times. Most of the time it will not work. I get an error message. When it loads, it works just fine. When it doesn't, there is an error message. Sometimes it will even flash back and forth from error to loading.
You probably do have a dead rodent in the ductwork. My son had a Mitsubishi Elcipse. Mice got in the duct work through the engine compartment and built a nest. The dealer charged $500 to $600 to take the dash apart and clean out.
Have your brakes and rotors checked now. If your car has rear drum brakes, you may need brake shoes etc. With the drum brakes, there could be several things wrong with the brakes.
Probably power window regulator.
Check your belts. The serpentine belt covers most of what you are describing. It could be old/ worn causing it to slip.
I don't know if it's common. Check your brake fluid level in your master cylinder. You may be low on brake fluid….and you also may have a leak in a brake line or hose.
You are in trouble (unless the light is bad). If you are using that much oil, you've either got a bad leak or you are burning a lot of oil.
Look in your owners manual. It will show you where the fuse box is and probably the number and size fuse.
I need to replace muffler and tailpipe. I looked underneath tonite and found the heat shield hanging on by 1 rusty bolt. At least 2 have rusted out and that is why it lays on muffler or drive shaft and rattles. Is this the same recall as listed in newer model recalls?
Check on Auto Zone web site or Allpar.com. Both list all engine trouble codes and description.
Replace your fan resistor module located behind glove box. Same happened to me. Eventually the fan won't work at all. After some months, my blower motor stopped. I just replaced it today. I have an extra resistor. I'll sell it to you for $12.00 if you want. It's brand new. I bought a second one because mine stopped again. I was hoping it was the resistor again, but it turned out to be the blower motor. Bought at Auto Zone for $103.00. If you buy your own resistor, you should be able to buy $15 to $25. DO NOT get at a Chrysler dealer!! They will rape you on the part and labor.
My fan would only work on high setting. Then it stopped. I replaced the fan resistor (located behind glove box). That worked for about 3 months. Just today, I replaced the fan blower motor. That was the problem. I had heat and A/C but the fan was not pushing it through the vents. If your problem is the same as mine, there is only 3 or 4 parts to check. There is a 40 amp fuse (should be #1 in fuse box, another cube type fuse in # 30), the fan resistor module ( should be able to get from $15 to $25). The last is the fan blower motor. I paid $103 at Auto Zone. I am no mechanic!! I installed both pieces in less than 1/2 hour. If you go to a Chrysler dealer you will get raped on parts and labor. If your issue is different, then sorry.
