98' Elantra with no compression after timing belt broke..Should I buy a used engine for 250.00 58,000 miles plus 90 day warrenty or should I send in the head for repairs?..Also due to the resulting damage I have no compression in any of the 4 cylinders...Is this normal?

    If your timing belt broke, then you may have bent the intake valves causing them not to close on the cylinder properly. All of your compression could be leaking out of the valves. Have a mechanic take the valve cover off to determine whether this is the problem or not.
