It sounds like it may be the seat belt chime? Is there any instruction in your owner's manual? Check here http://repairpal.com/automobile-owners-manuals-online or try this link you may be able to down load a free copy of the owner's manual for your vehicle http://www.autousermanual.com/
Turn on your lights, take out the keys as if you are leaving the car, does the initial chime you hear sound like the "lights left on chime"?

Doesn't sound like the lights left on chime. It chimes 5 times waits 5 seconds and then repeats this process a total of 5 times. Today, after driving for 30 or 40 minutes, I stopped at a redlight and when I started again the same chime sequence started again. Everyone in the vehicle was wearing seatbelts.
