I had to bring my car back to the dealership was because they damaged the car while I was getting a routine oil change. In no part of my visit today did I hear one, "I am sorry" the best I got was it is an unfortunate situation from the manager. After I asked a question about gas compensation I felt like I was being ridiculed when I walked back to the service agent. The service provided was sub par and needs improvement. They might sell excellent equipment, the delivery of service and human interaction needs to greatly improve. You never want a customer to leave your organization angry because of the way they were spoken too.
Previously, I had an issue with them replacing my cruise control lever. The entire lever was replaced, around $300, when the original lever could have been fixed in about 15 minutes. After some debate, they agreed to put the original lever back on so it could be fixed, and didn't charge me. This was a hassle. Otherwise, they were great.
I bought my car at Universal Toyota almost 8 years ago. Sammy Ayad was the first person I dealt with when I took my car for service and have been dealing with him ever since. He is a true professional and always takes care of my car's needs. Sammy is very patient and always assures me that everything will be taken care of. When I leave, I feel a sense of security that my car is safe for me or whoever is in it. The atmosphere is very comfortable and I do not mind waiting as long as I need to. It is like being at home. I live off of 410 & Bandera and have several Toyota dealers close to me, however I choose to travel to the other side of town because of the Sammy and the service that I get at Universal Toyota.
