1991 Toyota Corolla Q&A

1991 Toyota Corolla Question: Type of oil

I lost the owners manual and need to know what type of oil my 1991 toyota corolla takes? -
Answer 1
If your Corolla has more than 100,000 miles then I would use 10w30. Less than 100,000 then 5w30 is ok. use a good quality name brand oil like Valvoline, Quaker State, etc. Good Luck! -

I have tried jumper cables and have checked all fuses in the engine area to include the ones behind the steering wheel. Everything works except the car will not do anything when the key is turned.
My Toyota has 210000 miles on it. I've never had a problem but lately I've been hearing a rattling/knocking sound coming from the belt side of the engine. Oil is good, any idea on what it could be?
