I just bought a clean 260K. 1995 S320 and was wondering if I could use regular gas rather than premium?. Will that be harmful to the engine? Thanks.

If the manual states a requirement for premium fuel, or it says so on the gas door, then the engine requires the higher octane fuel to prevent preignition and subsequent engine damage. Don't be cheap with a Benz, repairs are high on German cars in general and MBZ is no exception. Gas is cheap compared to Benz repairs..
If you want to use regular gas anyway, get a Benz specialist to explain the consequences to you.
If you want to find a specialist, here's a directory link for you:

Thanks for your advice. I am using premium only. This car is worth it.
