loss of power on 1996 Saturn SL1

two cylinders have low compression is it valve guides or rings and how can u tell? is it easy to fix?

You can do a wet test. With spark plug removed add small amount of oil to the cylinder thru the hole, run compression test again, if stays the same then is valves, if goes up then oil helped seal rings and they are the culprit.
