First check the inertia fuel cut off switch to make sure it does not need reset. Don't put too much faith in the "sound" when you turn the key on. This Continental does not function like that - it is seeking a start command to provide power to the fuel pump driver module, and in turn, power the fuel pump. Also, this car has a constant control relay module (CCRM) that is located near the cooling fans that houses the fuel pump relay. This could be faulty. A proper diagnostic test of the fuel system with an accurate knowledge of how this particular system operates is essential.
