1990 BMW 525i

Question: turns over but no start

Recently replaced battery. Was running fine with no problems. Went to start and it turned over fine as if it would start but hasn't started since. The inspection shows oil press sensor and the oil has been checked and oil was at full. Not sure that this is the cause of the no start but ???

    Sounds like a lifter issue, pour in about a table spoon of oil in each bore after removing spark plugs. Should take a little bit of cranking

  • hard time starting
