Both turn signals work when they want to. The hazzard lights work just fine. All bulbs are great. The turn signal indicator will flash inside the car for a few seconds and then stop. The outisde turn signal lights stop too.
My turn signals work sporadically and have turned off after blinking once or twice and sometimes don't blink at all. What do I need to check to fix it?
turn signals come on for a second and then freeze (both left and right) usually when my bulbs burnt out they would flash really fast now they just freeze on the dashboard and dont work period, and idk what the problem is or how to get it fixed, please help.
coming home from towm this afternoon I noticed that neither turn signal was working. I tried several times to see if they would work. without any luck.
put turn signal on and it will blink once or twice and then stop.
I bought the car over 2 years ago and i have always had this problem where the back right blinker would quit working and now it is both i have to take the bulbs out and put the same bulbs back in and it works. But i hate having the inconvience of my back blinkers not working when i am on a busy interstate.
I switch the blinker switch and the blinkers may go off once, either side, then stop. Rarely work without a problem occuring.
Turn signals flash a few times and quit. Didn't bother repairing bought a Ford.
Recently had driver's side rear bulb go out and replaced it. Confirmed correct bulb. Afterwards, turn signals started to work intermittently and are going downhill from there - now I can only get a few flashes before they shut off altogether.
All turn signals and brake lights stopped working. Took into Firestone and they diagnosed it with a short in the Signal switch. Replacement was $224.00 for switch, $50 Diagnostic testing, and $20 Safety Check. A whopping total of $338.00.
We have had two lights go out in the last few months. They were changed then worked fine. I was coming home from an appointment out of town a few miles away. When I into town I made a left turn and didn't hear the signal. I did it again and it would flash once then go off. I pulled over to check both signals and saw there were both out. I used hand signals with a prayer all the way home. My husband, who usually will change the lights checked it out . He replaced a flasher which was working fine. The flashers still work. He said it was in the steering column, which he saw the warning for the airbags and chose not to do that.. He also looked in the door panal for the other flasher. To no avail. I then went into the computer and saw the problem is quite common. No solution...
front turn signals both sides do not work (do not light up at all) blinker works on dash. rear signals work fine.
Turn signals turn on then stops
not fixed, signal will not flash at times
blinkers work fine at times but most of the time will not work at all or will blink one time maybe two then stop
New relay switch installed for turn signals and still now working fuses are good and do r bulbs
Thank you for the updates of the same problem with turn signals going out in the 94 Chevy Cavalier updates. I wrote you several months ago, to complain about the frustration of finding out what was causing it. I went on a web page that told where the fuses were. We changed all of them. Except the one hidden under the steering wheel. We were told the steering wheel column had to be removed, it doesn't, and warned of damaging the airbags. We didn't. They also say the fuse is white ours was black. It fixed the problem and several months later it is still working fine. It was a cheap part also. Please let people know. DB
The turn signals don't work all the time they don't blink all the time. The bulb lights up but not flashing.
I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier I've replaced the bulbs check the sockets change the directional switch on the steering column the front turn signals work fine the indicator lights on the dash flash only fast both rear turn signals fail to work the fuse is good what am I missing for to be both rear turn lights
