I bought the vehicle used and have it for 6 years. The turn signal has been clicking for the last 5 years. When I took it in to get it checked, I was told that the dash would have to be taken out to repair switch. Sounded waay to expensive, so I turn up the radio until the clicking stops.

Turn signal clicking noise will continue to click when turn signal or hazard lights are not engaged. There will be periods of time when everything works great, then randomly will have a period of time when the clicking noise is very frequent. Sometimes the clicking is more severe than other times. Sometimes my turn signal will not work at all when engaged.

I'm having problems with the clicking noise, in my hazzards too it clicks like the blinker's are on when it's not and the noise get so severe to where it shuts my car off

Mine did this so long my steering column started smoking. Just took fuse out and shop said it needed new switch and it would cost over $200 tofix when I already have $2000 worth of work to do before it quits on me that I can't afford. Been doing arm signals or just not signaling at all for a while.

After using the turn signal , I would continue to hear a rapid clicking noise from the dashboard where the hazard light switch is located. I removed the cover around from turning signal and disassembled the signal switch its self and found the electrical contacts inside and found them to be dirty. Cleaned them up and added a little electrical grease on the contact points again and reassembled. no more clicking.

Same problem, supposedly you can clean the contacts of the blinker switch in the steering column. However, I have not tried this yet.

First it was a constant clicking noise from the hazord button in the dash above my stereo.I was told it was because a bad hazord switch i replaced the switch and that still did not fix my problem. It turned into a clicking noise every now and than mainly after you make a turn or turn your turn signal on tham off. after a while of ignoring it it turns into a crackling sound. after that i no longer have turn signals or hazord lights in the dash or the exterior of the car.
