Terrible. They charge way too much for everything. I wouldn't trust the positive reviews. Never take your car here.

KHAMIA-clearley you have made a mistake on where you took your vehicle..tune up plus does not even do tire repair.I have used this shop for 7 yrs. Parts are not given at parts house prices due to the fact that their parts are warranted at over 26,000 locations nationwide including labor!!! Wow !!! So no matter where I am if something happens to my vehicle that applies to a prior repair"sometime a new part will fail"the vehicle tow, repair, and, labor are all covered-Guess you all forgot to mention that!!! I will continue to use this shop and their ASE certified techs.,after all AAA believes in them and I do to.

Horrible! A complete rip off. They tried to charge me $500 labor which was an outrageous price for a very minor job. They told me my car was fine to drive without the work. When I said I would go elsewhere for an estimate they then said the car was unsafe to drive without them doing the work, contradicting what they had told me from the beginning.

I went to Houston and got the work done for less than $200...parts and labor...wow! Doesn't that sound nicer?

Tune Up Plus tried to price gouge me for a minor job, then tried scare tactics to attempt to talk me into not leaving when I wanted to go elsewhere to get another estimate.

    Ripoff from start to finish.

TXGRAMMIE: what sort of brake work on any car short of a Bentley costs almost $900???? Brake pads ($25)/rotors ($30)/calipers ($40) and complete master cylinder and brake line replacement ($200) - your brake system in it's entirety, would not cost anywhere near that much, and if you drove that Jeep to their shop you obviously did not need that amount of work done. I am quite surprised you did not write a review on Firestone about this huge discrepancy in pricing.

Sounds fishy to me TXGRAMMIE, and frankly you and COPESCORNER, sound like you may either work for this company, or be family/friends to someone who does.

One of the worst companies in the area. I agree with the previous writer, if there were a rating worse than one star they would be it. Took my car in to get a stem repair for my wheel lugs, the repair was to be paid by a local tire company because they were responsible for the damage. I was not expecting to pay for any repairs. Tune up plus ended up holding my car hostage. I was not allowed to take my car unless i paid them for the repair of a front wheel bearing, work which I did not authorize. I had driven my car into the shop and i expected to be able to drive it out. I wanted to get the repairs done at another shop but was not given the opportunity

Great shop. Been doing business with them for 15 years and have sent any friends that needed work to them. They are fast and affordable. Most important, you can trust them. They will keep your old parts and will take the time to show you the problem and why it needs repair. Use this shop with confidence- my family and I do.

I have searched all over the area and this shop is the most professional in this area. They called me very soon after I dropped off my Jeep and the with an estimate. Firestone quoted me 836.00 for brakes. Tune up plus fixed my Jeep for 229.00 and it is like new. They even helped me get to work at lunch time and had it ready the same day. I will reccomend and continue to use Tune up plus forever. Great service and trustworthy.

Agree it is a rip off shop. This shop charges higher rates for the same work for females than males, charges for unnecessary work, does not reveal what it charges for work until the 'work' is done, holds vehicles hostage, and makes unauthorized charges to credit cards. It's employees write fake positive reviews on online review web sites, and the company is an out and out ripoff store.

Went to Tune Up Plus and told them I had come for an alignment, and they took my car keys, put the car on the rack and immediately said they couldn't align it as it needed ball joints replaced, and promptly charged my credit card $77 for a 'computer diagnostic' that consisted of the mechanic wiggling the tires back and forth a few times, even though they had never asked me if I wanted any 'diagnostic' work done, and had never asked me to sign anything giving my consent to do any work at all. They also said I had a busted engine mount, when I had just had that engine mount replaced less than a week earlier at Rick's in Trinity. I told the owner of the store, a man from Trinity, that I was going to have the ball joints looked at and replaced, if necessary, elsewhere. He said since they couldn't align my car to go have the ball joints replaced at my own mechanic, and then to bring the car back to have the alignment done free since they had already charged me the amount it costs for an alignment. I replaced the ball joints at another shop and went back to Tune Up Plus for the alignment they promised me, only to be told they wouldn't do it, that for me to have had the alignment done for free I would have had to have the ball joints done at their shop. This was not what I was told when they charged my credit card, and this was witnessed by my wife, who was present in the shop with me when the owner promised to align it when I brought it back once the balls joints were done. The engine mount, by the way, was (and is) still in place, not 'busted' as they had told me, and was just one more thing the ripoff artists at Miller's Tune Up Plus tried to get me to have them work on. If I could rate this shop in negative numbers I would. BTW Dainelle04, as the only people in the shop were my wife, me, the owner of TuneUp Plus Mr. Miller, and the cashier girl who took our money, which one would you be? You aren't my wife...
