Question: Trunk light

 Rookie

The light is showing that my trunk is open, but its not open. With this, i'm not able to open the trunk clicking on the unlock button on my key, or the button inside the car, and I'm not able to open my convertible top because of this. The only way I can open the trunk is to manually put my key in the keyhole inorder to open. What is you solution of fixing this issues?

    There is a switch in the truck lock assembly that may be bad, or the wiring to the switch. If the switch is in the trunk lid, then check the wiring at the lid hinge area really good.
