Chevrolet Camaro Trunk Lid Won't Close Due to Trunk Pull Down Switch Failure
The trunk pull down switch may fail causing the trunk lid not to close completely. Our technicians tell us that the failed switch can be replaced without changing the complete pull down motor assembly.
total pain! First, my mechanic was able to make it close by physically opening the closed part. It workedfor awhile then it happened again. Again, it was physically opened and tested multiple times. I was sent on my way,very wary of using the trunk. Sure enough,it happened again. My mechanics couldn't find a new latch, as they are discontinues, as seems to be the case with every part I need :>( Eventually, I got a used assembly from a totaled vehicle.
