    Putting gas to floor on this model puts the truck into "clear flood mode".In this mode fuel delivery by the fuel injectors is greatly reduced. First check the temp. sensors [coolant/air] for accuracy. If ok I would suspect leaky fuel injectors or leaky fuel pressure regulator causing a flooded or partially flooded condition making for a difficult restart.
