truck won't start on 2007 Toyota Tacoma

tried to start truck today with no response at all from the start. I had no warning of a failing battery.not even a slight turn over of the engine. slow charged for 1 1/2 hrs with no change. made sure was in park. it's a great truck and have had no problems. other than a new battery is there something I am missing

Either have the battery load tested at a auto parts store or buy a new battery because until its determined that the battery is good charging a bad battery won't work
