Question: truck will start, will not pick up speed

truck stalls putts along, new battery, starter, and crank sensor installed. still will not pick up speed. 2001 ML320

    i think you might have a bad mass airflow meter.they go bad all time on those ml's

    I had the same issue and resulted to replacing fuel filter.

    Your transmission maybe in the "limp home" mode. It is where your car will only go about 20 mph. Replace transmission sensor and you should be good.
