Hard Starting and Intermittent engine stalling when taking foot off accelerator pedal (coasting) or coming to a stop is frequently caused by a dirty Throttle Body. The throttle plate and bore may become coated with contaminates from the intake system. After having driven the truck with no problems whatsoever all weekend, I got in this morning and she just cranked and cranked and cranked but would not start. Almost ran the batteries dead trying!...
Truck will crank and power to fuel pump is intermitent. Truck will not start. Truck is in heated garage.
Put new rebuilt motor in it hooked up existing wiring to motor. Will not start. Will preheat the engine and the fuel pump engages. turn key dead.
