When I first drive off the truck studders and black smoke comes out of exhaust. Takes awhile for it to take off. Changed the fuel filters and got oil changed but that didn't help.

MasterThe cold start "studdering" you describe is more than likely a failing injector or two. The EGR valve stuck with carbon can also cause this concern. This a complicated engine to work on. Make sure that it is a specialist who works on it.
