My 2000 Harley Davidson truck just started cutting out, when I accelerate, then goes then holds back again. Can it be spark plugs? No check light on. How often do I need to replace them? Generally maintained. 133,000 miles
Thanks

These vehicles sometimes had air flow sensor problems which could cause your type of problem. I don't think it's the sparkplugs. You probably don't have to change the plugs more often than 30,000 miles but thaty's not your problem. Get a Ford specialist to look at it.

You could have a problem with a coil or several coils dropping out especially under load. The rubber boots on the coils could be deteriorated by now. If you've replaced the plugs in the past but not the boots, this is could very well be a cause.

Either way, at 133,000 miles hopefully the plugs have been changed once or maybe even twice by now.
