Is the check engine/service engine soon light on? If a truck falters under acceleration or while you are under load it is usually ignition of fuel related but you say the engine cuts out under maintained speed not under load or acceleration when max fuel is needed and ignition demand is strongest. If the Check engine Light has come on the freeze frame information needs to be looked at to determine where the fault is. I am wondering if it a loss of power/ bad electrical connection. I would tee in a fuel pressure gauge and tape it to the windscreen. tap in to the ignition either with a timing light sitting on the front seat of the car or an oscilloscope hooked up to an ignition coil trigger to determine if you are loosing spark or fuel when the problem occurs. A proffessional grade scan tool allows you to drive the car and monitor key sensors while driving to see if they are failing.
