I replaced the Neutral Safety Switch on a 93 Taurus Wagon. The adjustment procedure in my Haynes manual is outdated (there is no hole in which to place a drill bit). Assuming I have loosened the mounting bolts, removed the linkage, and properly identified the markings that I need to line up, what position should the bolt that the linkage attaches to be in when I reattach the linkage? If I turn that both back and forth, there are several stops that are engaged. If you can explain the correct settings in relation to those stops, I believe it would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hey Doug, how did you resolve this, my instructions say the same thing, but there is no alignment hole. Thanks for any help you can give.
