2003 Ford Crown Victoria Q&A

2003 Ford Crown Victoria Question: Troubleshooting a brief reversed polarity jumper cable event.

Reconnected jumper cables correctly and tried starting the CV. Engine would turn over but not start. Is there a "master fuse" that might have blown and could be replaced to fix this? Thanks! -

Did you check your fusebox? Connecting cables backwards can cause MAJOR damage even if fuses blow. You'll probably need to have a competent shop diagnose it. The PCM could easily be destroyed. -
