I wonder if the vehicle starting after the steering wheel is turned is coincidental. If the dash lights are bright, try turning on the head lights, if they are bright and you turn the ignition key to the start position and only hear a click, the starter solenoid and plunger often fail on the Nippon Denso starter on the Sienna. A repair shop will test the battery, charging system and check the starter circuit for voltage and or voltage drops before replacing the starter or starter solenoid plunger and contacts as needed.
